Pregnancy Update: Week #25!
Hi everyone! Oh my goodness! I have seriously been MIA this past summer! I thought I would keep up with the blog and my newsletter, but we went on vacation to Virginia, then I had to start planning my son’s preschool year since I’m homeschooling him now. Doing the research has been very time-consuming as well as setting everything up in our old mini-living room, now classroom. Luckily, we are in our third week now of homeschooling and we are really enjoying it. A post on what that’s like will be up soon as well as pictures of our classroom.
So I wanted to post an update to my pregnancy thus far. This is my third one and I figured it might be of help to future moms of multiples.
- 10 weeks and I’m already showing like before!
- 13 weeks and spending July 4th in Atlantic City, NJ!
- 16 weeks! I look exhausted!
Still Ain’t Easy!
First, let me just say, this one hasn’t been any easier than the first or second! Lawdy! I have the same symptoms I had with little Henry and Evangeline. I hardly have an appetite, everything grosses me out, sleep is difficult, brushing my teeth makes me gag, smells make me gag, and seeing certain things make me gag. I gag a lot! But like I mentioned above, that doesn’t surprise me because I had that same reaction with my other two pregnancies.
So as of right now, we just call her, “the baby”. Henry insists on picking her name this time around, but he STILL hasn’t picked one. I like Adela Celeste, but he doesn’t. Can you believe he had the nerve to suggest Alejandra Adela yesterday? Alejandra Adela! Little Henry’s middle name is already Alejandro and I only did that because dad’s name is the same. I’m not going to name our daughter ALEJANDRA!!! I had until last weekend to pick, but he didn’t Then he said he would pick yesterday, and didn’t. So today I told him to hurry up. I want her to have a name already!
- 18 weeks and my hair is starting to annoy me!
- 20 weeks and enjoying some beach time!
- 23 weeks and a new haircut!
So now you know she’s a girl, lol! So far we’ve had all of our testing done and she’s passed with flying colors: no Down Syndrome, no Spina Bifida. We did a Counsyl panel since Evangeline has hypotonia, but I’m not a carrier for any of those 180+ conditions. Next week I have to do my glucose test to see if I have gestational diabetes. I didn’t have this with Evangeline and wasn’t tested for it with little Henry since most of his pregnancy was in Ecuador and they don’t test for that there.
I had my antenatal testing done at 20 weeks and she’s exactly as big as she’s supposed to be.
- 24 weeks. Love my son’s reaction!
- Yes, I’m a boss babe!
- 25 weeks along!
Little Henry and his other little “Bibi”!
My belly is getting bigger and little Henry has noticed. We’ve told him that mommy is having another “Bibi”, as he calls Evangeline. So every once in a while he’ll come and blow on my belly or kiss it and say, “Mommy, bibi?” I can’t wait to see his reaction when he gets to meet his new little sister. He adores Evangeline, adores, adores! It’s so funny. We can’t raise our voices with her because he’ll immediately say, “Mommy! Daddy! No, Bibi!” We can’t yell at her when she’s misbehaving, lol! And Lord does that girl misbehave! Oh my goodness she’s a handful! Evangeline is 1 and a half now and just gets into everything. Little Henry was so much calmer at this age and very clean. Evangeline is very messy. It’s really funny! I know you shouldn’t compare your kids, but it’s just so funny to us how different they are. But they’re both so loveable and cute and we just love them to pieces 🙂
So as of right now I have less than 15 weeks left in my pregnancy! Time is going by super fast and before I know it, January 3rd will be here, unless she decides to pull a Evangeline and arrive earlier 😉

25 weeks! And here I am two days ago!
That’s all for now. Please enjoy my pix and stay tuned for more posts, newsletters, and videos on my YouTube channel!
Bye for now!
