Hi lovelies!
Christmas is over! Noooo!!! I think my favorite time of the year definitely has to be Christmas. I love the festive season, the unity, the lights. I remember loving Christmas as a child, and now that I have my own children, that joy has been renewed. I love seeing the expressions on their faces (Henry’s because Evangeline doesn’t really know what’s going on yet) when they get to open their presents. Now that the season is officially over and I’ve had some time to recuperate, I thought I’d post about my crafting projects from the season.
Every year I make Christmas Calendar cards for my dad. You see, he’s a mechanic and has a shop. I make 100 of these cards for him and he gives them to his clients as a Christmas gift.

Last year I began something new. I started making gift boxes! I had made a gift box previously for Henry’s birthday a few years back, so I thought I would try making Christmas boxes and giving them to my dad to sell for me. The boxes are really easy to make and I use my Martha Stewart scoring board to make them. Martha (my favorite person in the world) has a scoring board for scoring paper and for making all types of boxes.
Here is an example of a box I made:

A red and white color scheme
This box measures 8×8 inches x 2 inches in depth. They are sooo easy to make and I try to make as many as I can at one time.
These are the ones I made this year. I also started doing different box shapes: small squares, long rectangles. You can see those below.
I plan on making more of these boxes throughout the year and selling them in my store. They won’t just be for Christmas. I’d love to make seasonal ones for every season and for birthdays and special occasions such as baptisms, bar mitzvahs and so forth.
Hope you enjoyed this post.
